Speaking from personal experience, I feel like a lot of people who say they just "don't know why they don't have much money" are often the ones who spend it extremely carelessly. It could be from the littlest things we take for granted, Fast Food for example. People get so defensive when its brought up, same way when people get defensive when it comes to weight- but I've noticed a lot more people can't shake the idea that buying things doesn't mean happiness- and a lot spend more than they should.
You know how those weight loss TV shows like Secret Eaters or Supersize Vs Superskinny, imagine that but with finance. There's this one show called Shopaholics which kinda go into what I'm talking about- but what they do is more blatant than other cases. I mean yeah, a person going into debt because they wanna buy $1,000 clothes obviously have a problem. But what about the people who always say "yeah I don't know why I can't budget, I keep trying but nothing happens". And just to be clear, I;m referring to the people who think they don't have a problem when they do.
And then it brings awareness regarding food waste/pollution, poverty, charity, hoarding, and other money-related issues just like with what Superskinny does with disordered eating.
Idk that'd be cool in my opinion.
