From what I have gathered, living takes up a large portion of your income, especially when making under ~20/hr. Affordable housing is considered no more than 30% of your monthly income. I didn't come from the best financial situation so I am trying to learn and understand how to be in a better financial position. ( aside from just making more money)
- What is a reasonable living expectation for a young adult / student age?
- What is a good way to find roommates / shared living places?
- What are good things to consider in a place to live?
- What items or upgrades could make an affordable place feel like a higher quality place?
- Is it possible / legal to have a one bedroom apartment with your partner and have a 3rd person in the living room?
