A year ago had a gallbladder surgery getting random bills from imaging companies and doctors who were “out of network”. Its not like they let me pick who was going to be in the operating room but thats a whole different issue.
I asked my insurance company why it wasn’t paid for and they said they would file an appeal. The insurance company and the doctors office both were aware of this but they sent the bill to a collection agency anyway.
How do i keep this from affecting credit score.
