I’ve sold several big winners this year, and in order to harvest some losses to offset those gains I’m considering selling Alibaba stock which I’ve taken quite a hit in recently. I want to maintain exposure to Alibaba though, so while I wait 30 days to avoid triggering wash sale rules I’d like to invest into kweb so that I can keep exposure. Would kweb be considered too similar to Alibaba thus triggering the wash sale rule?
