So a couple years ago I was diagnosed with needing a root canal, but the procedure was way too expensive for my family to afford. We didn’t have medi-cal either and I still don’t qualify for it now because my “income is too high”. (I made $100 over their income limit lmao.) The tooth wasn’t really bothering me anyway at the time so we just ignored it. Fast forward to like 2-3 years later and I’m getting numbing pains in my jaw. I don’t know if it’s related but I’ve been getting really bad headaches too and sometimes just a flash of sharp pain across one side of my head. I get insurance from my job in about two weeks, so I just wanna know what I can do in the meantime to hold out and not pay out of pocket for this root canal. I’m literally so uncomfortable and my jaw feels sore and numb sometimes.
