I have a decent amount of money I want to further invest. I’ve been thinking about buying individual stocks for my portfolio. However I’m trying to decide if I should do that or just take that same money and add it the index funds I already have (VTSAX/VTIAX). If I buy stocks I might create an account with Fidelity since I hear they're the best for stocks.
The goal is to hold long term so I'd probably just buy into stocks like Tesla, Apple, Amazon, etc
