I have been working at this gas station for a year and I have been feeling so terrible lately. At first it was okay but now I feel it has gotten worse and more dangerous. I do some graveyard shifts and whenever there is a party around these night clubs, it gets very bad. I am a young female and get harassed a lot by guys... Either they discriminate towards my ethnicity randomly or ask me if that is my real hair or eyes. I tell them off and well, I don't care about it but it has gotten bad.
Also the management is pretty bad, we are currently short-staffed and no other people want to work 6 days x 6 hours, the pay is too little and taxes are high. (I live in California)
I want to find another job but majority of jobs here are part-time which means no benefits. I stay there because of the insurance and a surgery I want to get. Apparently I was told opening an HSA account could help to gather enough for that surgery.
So not sure what to do. I have no savings, I am trying to pay my 8k debt. I also do temp work gigs and that is a supplemental income. Thoughts?
