I left for bootcamp in May. I made sure to cancel all my subscriptions and to pay of all my credit cards before leaving.
Sadly though, one of my credit cards was left with a $0.50 balance and it wasn’t set up with autopay. What resulted is five months of missed payment and the total balance owed is now $12.50. Its an insignificant amount of money, but i’m more worried about how its negatively affected my credit. I know my credit was around 700 when i left but now its at 549.
Is there anyway I could reverse how this has affected my credit?
