Hey guys , I currently have a full time job and it’s hybrid remote. It’s the not greatest job but the management isn’t bad neither very laid back. I have full benefits and the pay is at 53k. Tbh tho , I can not stand the type of work it’s very corporate and I’m in about 5 meetings a day. (I hate it ) I have a job offer from another company but it’s contractor to full time. Currently they are trying to approve fully remote because I live about 3 hours away. The only way I can accept the offer is if it’s fully remote but they are speaking with the upper management to approve this. (Hoping the don’t lie to me and get me in then switch up on me about remote status) Also it’s a pay up it’s 75k. I don’t know much about managers if they suck or not but I know the work and it’s much better. My question is would you leave the safe job (current job) for a contractor job that may lead to a full time with a pay up and I still don’t know if it’s fully remote as well.
