This is my first time getting a prescription in the US. I did a physical exam and doctor says my triglyceride a little high, etc. I told the clinic to put the nearest Walgreens as the Pharmacy. Went to said Walgreens and the bill came up to $280 for some Omega-3 and medicated shampoo. I was in disbelief but I didn't know what to do so I paid for it.
Now I'm looking through the internet and it's showing prices that are so much lower at Walmart/Krogers. It's even more lower through Amazon Pharmacy. Since I cannot return prescribed medication, I'll take the L. But for next time, how do I ensure that I get the cheapest prices. Do I call each one of them to get the prices? Are there any caveats to Amazon Pharmacy?
