I have been and I am extremely bearish on cryptocurrencies.
I fail to see any practical value for crypto except for criminal endeavours. I also loathe how they consume so much energy in a time where we need to reduce energy consumption. This also implies a big regulatory risk.
I am so sure of this, that I am beginning to doubt my rationality here. Am I overseeing something essential? In particular is there a valid (long-term) investment hypothesis for cryptos?
