I consider myself pretty good with managing money, always save & invest my salary each month. I used to be almost TOO frugal, and would often not spend on things that I really needed. Recently I’ve found more of a balance.
This summer, assuming because of the return of ‘normality’ in London where I live, I have been spending a lot more and find myself running out at the end of the month, which never used to happen. I have spent a lot more on things like Uber, deliveroo, credit cards. I’m still saving and investing, but I shouldn’t be running out as I’ve just had a pay rise.
This next paycheck, I’m going to more closely monitor my spending in order to get back to a better place. I’m going to delete uber, deliveroo and Uber eats etc from my phone. Have a credit card ban, things like that.
Does anyone have any other tips for when you need to consciously rein it in a bit?
