I’m a 20 year old male in college and a year ago I was kicked out my parents house. I’ve been struggling financially because it was sudden and I didn’t have a job at the time.
I’ve been told that I should get an EBT card, and although I may qualify, a friend of mine warned me of potential consequences when it comes to my financial future. Unfortunately he never really elaborated, and I haven’t found any answers I’m looking for on Google.
Is there any consequences I should be aware of? It might be a stupid question, but I just want to make sure I know what I’m getting into.
