So my mom had a stroke in 2018. Paid off all her cc debt prior.
Well the family friend we hired as her caregiver used her credit card to buy a whole bunch of stuff. Most of the stuff was new furniture for the living room and things like that. Well, she’s in over $5,000 debt now.
This woman went crazy and stopped caring for my mom, so we fired her. Moms currently in a nursing home now.
My mom had no retirement or an stocks anymore (my dad cashed out her stocks.,. That’s a whole other story)
How can I get my mon out of this hole? She didn’t even pay for this crap and I have no physical proof that the caregiver did it. The caregiver only told me she did it.
