Hello all! Sorry if this is the wrong sub for this question, mods please take down this post if it is.

A timeline, let me know if anything is unclear:

  • November 2020 - I made an online order, got and kept a confirmation email.
  • January 2021 - Never received my order. I reached out to their customer support email (it was linked in the confirmation), but after five business days I never got a reply. Went to check their website and it no longer existed.
  • February 2021 - I filed a charge dispute.
  • May 2021 - Dispute was found in vendor's favor because "the merchant provided sufficient evidence that you made the purchase". I immediately filed another dispute, this time attaching the confirmation email and my support request from January as evidence.
  • June 2021 - I found their shop pages on Facebook and Instagram asking how to get an update on my shipment (I knew it was never coming, and I intentionally didn't mention the disputes or my transaction number). Neither messages received a reply.
  • July 2021 - Dispute was found in vendor's favor because "the merchant provided sufficient evidence that you made the purchase". Filed another dispute today.

I'm playing a $99.99 tug of war game with this company. A hundred buck isn't a huge amount, it's not going to break the bank, but I'm a college student and that money would be better spent on textbooks than into oblivion. What's my next move? How can I prove to the creditor that yes, I DID make that purchase, but they never sent me anything? How else can I get my money back other than a dispute?
