Washing machine took a crap on me. The door lock wouldn’t initiate and therefore the washer wouldn’t run. I looked up local appliance techs in the area. Discovered it’s 80-150 just to have someone glance at the damn thing. And he couldn’t even come out for a week. I’d also have to miss work since he’s only able to visit between 1-5pm. So I did a quick YouTube search and entered in the code the machine was giving me. Discovered the part I needed is 16$ on Amazon. Fixed it myself in about 5 minutes with a screw driver. Would have easily cost me 200$
