Hi all, I just got my annual raise increase at the company I work for.
I currently make $55,000/year, salary, paid bi-weekly. I just got notified that I have received a 2.75% wage increase, but my paystub had only a +$43.63 difference on it. I’ve checked a few different online calculators, and this doesn’t seem to add up. It appears it should be +$58.
Any assistance?
Edit: thank you all for your responses!! I sent an email response back indicating the number discrepancies and asked for her to walk me through the numbers to better understand. Whether it has something to do with being added in the middle of a pay period or my pre-tax deferral, or several other factors involved, I will let you all know when I find out!
