I hope it's cool to post this here, but I know Zenni is popular among r/frugal and I couldn't find a dedicated subreddit for Zenni.

I ordered a pair of blue blocker frames about a year ago, which contain a special blue light filtering layer on the lenses... but somehow just noticed a TON of hairline scratches on the lenses. I only use a micro fiber cloth to clean them, but I guess it still scratched them somehow. They're not super noticeable when I'm wearing them luckily but under direct sunlight there's a whole bunch of them running across the lenses.

Does anyone know if there's a cost-effective way to remove scratches from eye glasses, or would it be cheaper to just order another pair? I was going to try the toothpaste trick, but I am afraid it could strip the blue light filter layer on the lenses. Not sure if anyone has advice or could give their two cents, and apologies if this is the wrong place to post this. Thanks!
