My sister and BIL would like to split half a cow, but I don't know if financially it's a good idea. I like that it'll be locally sourced and willing to pay a bit more for it, but I'm not sure $900 for the following it worth the cost.

Ground Beef – 30 lbs (in 30- 1lb packages) Stew meat – 3 lbs (in 3- 1lb packages) Short Ribs – 7 lbs (in 2-3 packages) Sirloin Tip – 2 lbs (1 pack) Chuck Roast – 6lbs (2 packages) Top Round Roast– 3 lbs (1 package) Eye of Round – 1 lb (1 package) Round steaks- 5lbs (in 2-3 packages) Brisket – 2.5 lbs (1 package) Rolled Rump Roast – 3 lbs (1 package) Rib Steaks (Bone in Ribeye)- 6 to 7lbs (in 3-4 packages) Sirloin steaks – 6 lbs (in 3 packages) Porterhouse – 2 lbs (1 package) T-Bone steaks – 3 to 4lbs (in 2 packages) Skirt  steak– 1 lb (in 1-2 packages) Flank Steak – 1 lb (in 1-2 packages) Liver – 3 lbs (in 3 packages) Soup Bones – 6 lbs (in 2 packages)

Any advice is appreciated.
