Not sure if this is the right place to post but:
So I wanted to add lights to the back of my monitor so I can have a bit of back light behind my set up.
I got strip lights from the dollarstore, it plugs in via usb, and its sticky adhesive. However, now I'm having self doubts as the dollarstore can be pretty sketchy. Would you think its a fire hazard and led strip lights are one of those things to not cheap out on?
other info: I plan on cutting it as well to shorten it, and it has some cutting lines for it
I'll be plugging it into my computer via usb, and I plan on unplugging the lights whenever not in use because I think that'd be safer?
