As the title says. I am not close with anyone in my family (I do not want them to get anything if I happen to die), no real close friends, no kids, no significant other. I hate the process of having to list beneficiaries when I fill out things. Even if I put someone just to put a name there, no one is going to give me their social security number. I'm only 31 so down the road I will hopefully find someone I like enough to marry but until then I do not feel comfortable putting anyone down. Does anyone else have this issue? What do you do? Does the information even get entered in to make sure the information I'm giving is real? Since I cant submit things such as a 401k without putting a beneficiary down.
