I got this charge on my citi card back in march and it says 76$ from audible the bronx ny, but i've literally never bought anything from audbile ever.
I filed a dispute and they sent me the merchants response. It says it's audible in the transaction, but the website is not audible, its some scammy website selling hand dispenser crap and you read the merchants response and it's litearlly a copy of a spam email, and they give a tracking number that doesn't exist and they post an email that isn't mine but uses my first+lastname @mail.com, not even gmail, @mail.com!
This so scummy and I don't think the dispute department even looked at it. I called them and they reopened the dispute and I faxed a signature as they asked me to and said this is a fraudelent charge, but now it says in the status that they are waiting from a response from the merchant again...
This is so ridiculous and it's really ticking me off. Honeslty I've had a lot of issues with citi bank over the years and I think I'm going to close my account.
How did my credit card get scammed like this in the first place? I live alone and only use my card through paypal and only do business on trusted sites.
