I [M, 20] currently work 36-46 hours a week, and make $2,500 to $3,000 monthly with no extra hours put in, and have just shy of $10k in savings. I’m able to cover all my bills, and live comfortably with my fiancé. All of our expenses come out to $1,600-$1,800 a month depending on how much unnecessary spending we do (this does however including fuel and groceries). My fiancé works as well, but is currently working on getting accommodations at work due to her struggles with disability, and has been on leave for about two months now.

Although we’re living comfortably and within our means, I’d feel much more secure financially if we had at least one more source of income to boost our savings or have some extra money to just mess around with. The goal is another $300-$500 per month, although I’m not sure how realistic this is.

I’d greatly appreciate it if you guys could help be set realistic goals and expectations, and give me suggestions as to how I can reach those goals. Thank you!
