My grandfather recently died and left my grandmother a lot of money for her to live on. Even though I am young, I’ve been living with and helping take care of my grandparents. My uncle (who has the same name as my grandfather just with the addition of jr) is kinda sketch and I am worried he may try something either through trying to convince my grandmother to do something or by using his name. My grandmother values my opinion and trusts me but struggles to see the bad side of my uncle and is too trusting of him.
I am moving away in September and want to do everything I can to make sure my grandmother is protected. I join her on lawyer meetings, I am helping her with her finances and learning what all my grandfather did before his passing.
All this to say I think she would take into account my suggestions but I don’t know what to suggest. I would appreciate any help.
