I usually send my rent payments over Chase QuickPay from my checking account to my landlord's email. I got a text from her a week after I paid this month's rent reminding me that her email had been hacked and that I needed to use the new one. Great reminder, except she forgot to tell me any of this in the first place. I called and filed a claim through Chase telling them that the email had been hacked, and they just denied it. Can I appeal, and any idea what my chances are to overturn it?
