Just priced out moving via a pod-type service where I load/unload. Priced it as a 1-bedroom. Over $4K and while I have good furniture in Cali it is not worth $4K+. Should I check with local movers for some kind of 'piggy-back' shipping for a few pieces or just sell it all and start over. Honestly, maybe four large pieces I would like to take with me (sofa, dresser, sideboard, dropleaf table.) Any solutions appreciated. I have to drive the move with my dog (solo) and I do not see a U-haul/Penske for that.
