So my mortgage company obviously uses a third party company to process payments from escrow to the county where we own our house. The 1098 they provided only shows half of the tax paid. Customer service validated that yes, they only paid the July bill and not the January bill.
However, when I contacted the auditor and treasurer in my county (Ohio) everything is paid and up to date. I verified that the third party processor (Corelogic) made both payments in January and July.
I'm at a loss at this point because Corelogic won't talk to me flat out. Can someone please help?
