Hello, does anyone here know, how can I, as a retail client residing in EU, get exposure to EU carbon credits/emission allowances? Talking about this: https://ec.europa.eu/clima/policies/ets_en
I have looked through several options - spot coupons are only available to emitters as far as I can tell (one primary exchange is Leipzig: https://www.eex.com/en/markets/environmental-markets), Interactive Brokers does not offer access to futures on carbon credits (I could find such futures on Leipzig and ICE futures in London (https://www.theice.com/products/197/EUA-Futures), there are two American ETFs that I could find, but they are only available to institutionals (https://etfdb.com/etfs/commodity/carbon-allowances/). Does anyone have any idea?
