About me: 31 years old and frugal, constantly worried about "what if I lose my job?" and "the stock market is overdue for a massive recession" and "what if I invest all my savings at the top?".

Have always been hesitant to invest my savings account money due to my upbringing...but I'm ready to relieve my savings account of it's heavy burden.

Current Investments: $128k brokerage account (3 fund portfolio with vanguard, ~80/20)

$45k Roth IRA (target date fund)

$30k stock account (for playing around)

$8k 401k (4% match, target date fund)

$180k savings account

I'd probably like to keep $100k readily available for a house (that has been a lifelong dream of mine and I've just been baffled how prices keep going up). Or even a rental property if I do enough research.

Any tips on where to invest (which admiral vanguard funds besides total stock, bond and int'l) and how much at a time to achieve the most money in the next 20 years?
