I know I can always donate to Goodwill and Thrift stores, but everything local I've found seems to just resell clothes and things. I've been so broke before that I couldn't afford a new shirt or dress, even at a discount store like that.
I'd love to give to a place that doesn't just resell their donations.
Does anyone know of any place like that? I'm queer with some religious trauma so I'd like to avoid going to a church, but I think if no one has any suggestions that's what I'll probably end up doing.
