Not only does this give you one or more USB ports for charging devices but it takes the bluetooth audio from your phone and sends it over FM radio frequencies so the existing radio in your dash can get the audio. Now you can enjoy podcasts and such without paying hundreds for a new radio plus the labor to install it. This also works well in rented u-haul trucks or cheap rental or loaner cars that lack an aux input of any kind.
