So I messed up my original return I filed about an hour ago because I forgot to include a SSA-1099 for $696 in benefits I received during 2020. Besides my job's income of $49,753.28 I've received no other income. My deductions were just the standard $12,400 according to H&R Block's online filing.

According to their system my taxable income is $37,945, the taxes I owe are only $4,354, I have $1,800 in credits, and the taxes I've already paid are $7,105.

My original return of $2,751 (calculated before I added the SSA benefit) seemed accurate. Now with the information stated above they're calculating that I now owe $66 in federal taxes somehow.

Is this an error on H&R Block's end? Or is there something I'm missing? Help?
