Currently I lived in a shared house in a what I would call "cozy" but actually tiny room. I don't mind my small living space as I've grown used to it, but of course it does have a downside as I'm not able to have people over. I only make minimum wage so at the moment the low rent means I can save up to 40/50% of my income and I've gotten used to that amount going in my savings every month.
But now all the people around me keep pushing me to move into something bigger. I would be able to afford it, but I wouldn't be able to save as much as I do now. It's not like a have to save up for paying back a debt or something like that, I just like saving money.
I'm only 23, so my social circle is all like "you should live your life while you still can, you can't still be living in what's basically a student room" and I'm more like "but... saving money?". I'm afraid that once I start spending more money I'll like it too much and won't be able to go back to live more frugally.
Is this just a weird very specific problem or do have any of you experience with a similar situation?
Any advice would be appreciated
