Hello. I am 25. I want to move out. I live with my dad but Idk how much I can afford in rent. I only make approx. 40k a yr (net) before taxes. I am self employed. 1 bedrooms are going for $1,000+ where I live. I’m not sure if I can afford this or not. I really have no idea how much it is to live on your own. I have money saved up but idk. I don’t want room mates. Sorry for the half written post I’m really tired. If any more info is needed I can give. I’m almost wondering should I just buy a small ass 1-2 bedroom house? I have enough for a downpayment (approx 25k cash right now)
