I've got a two room apartment with a large single pane glass window in the living room that leaks cold air (though the glass) in the winter. I'm trying to be thrifty about paying for heat. Do I gain anything by closing all the heat outflow vents into the living room, and shutting myself in the bedroom where it's warmer?
(Before anybody asks I'm looking into electric blankets.)
