Ever since I was young, I only have 1 pair of good quality earring and was always given cheap ones. As i’m lazy and forgetful I always tend to forget to remove and clean it. I realised that the cheap ones always become green and dirty with the gems dropping out after just 2-3 days of wearing. Whereas, the expensive one does not and is still good as new.
I go through those cheap earrings very quickly and have just made a purchase for a more expensive one that I love the shape and colour of and most importantly is rust free. Yes, it is more pricey and my grandma mentioned it being expensive too.
But personally for me I would rather pay more and not have to change earrings so frequently and be able to wear 1 pair for years to come then always having to purchase new ones.
Moral of the story is don’t ever scrimp and save on jewellery that you want to use for years.
