I am looking to understand which stocks or securities I should hold in a scenario where we get high reported inflation and subsequent increase in interest rates during the coming years. I understand this scenario will be bearish for many stocks but I do not wish to short stocks or similar. It would be interesting if you would like to describe your vision for how a gradual increase up to interest rates of 7 % over 5-10 years would affect the most important assets such as housing, commodities, bonds, dividend stocks, growth stocks, and cryptocurrencies.
Feel free to remark why this scenario is not going to happen, but, in the interest of readers, please try to expand on the high-rate scenario anyway as a theoretical exercise.
