I just toasted 2 English muffins. Fried up 4 scrambled eggs, and microwaved 2 pieces of veggie bacon. These are my simple, nothing pretty or photo worthy breakfast sandwiches that I intend to bring with me to work tomorrow and Wednesday before I get off from work for a well deserved break for the holidays.
It doesn’t need to be anything fancy or pretty, it just needs to get the job done. Eggs will fill me up, it will set my day up for success. I’ll be less hungry come lunch time. Most importantly of all, if I skimp on breakfast I get irritable and feel weak later in the morning. I perform my job at a less than desired level.
I used to skimp out on taking breakfast serious not to long ago, but at a certain point I came to my senses and said, I’m tired of getting “hangry” at 1030am or so. I need to be a better person I need to make a change.
Breakfast makes all the difference. Just like getting to work early is important, so is fuel for your body so you can be your best self. We can’t always control certain factors but we can try to set ourselves up for success.
The desire to eat out is less because my packed lunch is plenty filling thanks to my version of a bacon egg English muffin. Save money 💰
