I decided to clean my dryer vent with one of those kits. Long story short I was stupid and had the drill in reverse. Only part of the tool came out obviously and now the brush is stuck in the vent. I have tried fish tape, taped a water bottle to the fish tape with a hole the tool would fit in at the top (cap), and even attached the remainder of the tool that came out to the fish tape to no avail. Finally, I stuck the shop vac hose up the vent and tried to “suck” out the remainder of the tool. Of course to no avail. I was wondering if there are any other options before I have to tear any drywall out.
