I've found a plethora of sources regarding investing online: books on ETFs, books on options, books on stocks, books on psychology, books on history of the market, biographies of investors, books on macroeconomy, etc. I have a list of over 100 books I've collected over the last year.

But I find it hard to even begin reading one of these because I don't have a base from which to start. I may start reading one book and find terms and concepts I haven't learned yet that may appear in another book that was also recommended.

In programming there are some known "programs" that guide you through the OCW and free books that everyone recommends. For instance, Computer Science From The Bottom Up, A Self-Learning, Modern Computer Science Curriculum and others offer guidance in how to build up your knowledge of the craft.

So could you recommend a guideline or at least a couple of books I should start reading in a specific order to begin learning about investing?

Thanks
