Hey guys,
Here comes yet another confused person on the verge of choosing between jobs. I'm working in a senior role at a good company and making around $200k. The job is very demanding but I like my team and I'm valued quite a bit. However, it's been hard to negotiate on comp internally. I just got approached for a similar role at a smaller company at around 285k, which is a big increase! The role is quite similar.
Money, while not the biggest driver for me, matters quite a bit when we're talking a raise this big. But it also comes with uncertainty when it comes to any new job. I'm sure a lot of have been in a similar position. I'd love to hear what you ended up doing and how it went afterwards?
