Not sure if this concept has been posted already, but I haven't seen any posts like this, given the simplicity of this idea.
But garage sales are 100% worth it. I'd say 90% of the time homeowners mark their merchandise way below market value, and you can find unique treasures with every sale. Even if you can't find a use for something that seems like a steal, buy it and sell it forward yourself, but marked up, of course.

Making this post after visiting a sale myself today. Copped a decent Columbia coat for $5. The coat itself looks at least $20 even at its current state, I'd hardly doubt it if a new one costs $50.
