Went to the ER, was told they take my insurance and would have the bill sent to me. Just got the doctors bill in the mail and it looks like its out of network. The hospital bill was in network, but still cost over $1K. Im located in NJ, am I basically screwed on this?
$742 of the out of network bill is for "Emergency Department Visit". I paid the hospital for the emergency room. Is that just a bullshit charge?
