I completely financed my brother to start a freight trucking business (vehicle transport) because his wife just came to American and she was pregnant. I don’t take a penny from it because that’s not why I did it.

Unfortunately, COVID shutdown damn near all lots and dealerships for a while so we absolutely had no business. They denied my PPP application through PNC. PNC isn’t even allowed to help me fill it out or anything.

We just started back with some business a couple months ago but they take more “experienced” and drivers with more “ratings” first when it comes to freight. We have 5 star review with around 50 reviews but nothings been the same with COVID.

We started the business in February 2019, so we already expected a loss obviously in the first year or so but damn did 2020 do it’s thing. So everything had to go on the business CC. Our limit on it is 26k I believe so every trip we are playing with the devil with fuel being up to $1000+ a trip sometimes and life just sucks for all of us.

As if that wasn’t enough.

I haven’t been able to work since my mom got diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in May this year. A few months ago we switched to hospice. In order for her to do in home hospice, I had to be with her 24/7. This was important for her me because we lost my dad in 09’ to cancer also. He lost his mentally so ultimately he had to do the hospice facility. I was 15 1/2 so it was weird transition and we definitely wanted our mom home during this COVID with possibility not to see her.

So I’ve had to put everything on CC’s and loans since the whole thing with mom. I should state that I’ve been living with her since my dad passed and she retired at 62 with disability. I’ve covered everything since i was 18 so I considered myself pretty smart with money.

Now I’m ducked, anybody have any advice?. Are there any programs that help people with cancer (Pancreatic Cancer) patients/caregivers?some accounts
