My basement foundation goes up about 6ft, and then there is an existing above grade wall on top. If I add 2” rigid foam, and frame the cement with batt insulation....how do I frame it? Videos I have seen people attach to the ceiling and build a wall from floor to ceiling... but I assume I don’t do that here? There would be a wall covering a wall with a decent open space.Do you build a ledge instead?
