Additionally, given the growth of tech stocks, what about putting the bulk of retirement portfolio into a tech fund like the LEGAL & GENERAL GLOBAL TECHNOLOGY INDEX. Assuming 30 years away from retirement. Of course, I can diversify into safer sectors as I get closer to retirement.
