Ok so my husband is part of a company. They are based overseas in Asia. We live in NYC. I go to school here. So suddenly my husband wants to move to a new house so he can have “an office”. So currently our budget includes 2,350$+200$ in parking, plus groceries/baby stuff amounts to about 800$ To 1000$. Is there really income tax in NYC? If we move outside of nyc then I will have to pay out of state tuition.(2 years of college left) I feel like if we get an even more expensive apartment we will not be saving enough for a house down payment in the future.
