I bought a pair of shorts from Charlotte Russe and had to exchange them because they had a period stain on them... The worst part is that they wouldn't accept the return because they said it was MY period stain. I literally had to share personal information about being on birth control in hopes that the sale's associate could understand my position on how POSITIVE I am that the stain was not mine.

The manager did sincerely apologize and said that while she couldn't accept my return, she did advise me that in the future, I should thoroughly check the clothing before purchasing because many of the clothes at Charlotte Russe are PEED ON.

If I'm buying clothing from a store, I expect that by the time it's hung up on the rack, that it is in ready-to-sell conditions. I shouldn't have to worry about brand new clothing having pit stains and I shouldn't have to look inside pants to check for blood around the crotch area.

Honestly makes me wonder how often employees put back returned clothing on their shelves after coming from customer's homes with period stains, urine stains, and I wouldn't be surprised if employees don't bother to sanitize products that were worn by people who have COVID.

Long story short, the shorts are going in the trash and this will be my last retail therapy spent at Charlotte Russe.
