I want to say thanks for all of the posts and advice I read from all of you.
I have a few retirement accounts from work and previous jobs. I’m trying to figure out a few things and hope you all can help...
-
Is it a good idea to have an advisor review my various accounts and then hire them to manage my retirement accounts (from what I understand, they transfer all accounts to Charles Schwab and then charge a small commission based on earnings)

Also, I want to learn about financial opportunities such as investing in real estate or franchise or business of some sort as an alternative income/investment. Is there an advisor that can focus on these types of investments rather than focusing on retirement accounts and the stock market?
Would love to get your thoughts on these two questions. Thank you!
