What do you do when you love fast-paced science and engineering, but need to live near the mountains.
To put it plainly I got my degree in engineering in CA. Worked in SoCal and hated it. So I moved to MT for a PhD program in Engineering (Chemical). I always strive to be a minimalist and want the simple life where I can backpack, fish, and XC ski all my life. But engineering jobs are not easy to find where I want to live. AND I really enjoy the type of work I do. So I want to do science and engineering, but I need to live a simple and rural lifestyle.
